Comfort Quilts

As a service to the community, members make comfort quilts and lap blankets with materials provided by or donated to the guild. Comfort quilts are given to the Red Cross, battered women's shelters, crisis nursery and Lewiston and Clarkson police and fire departments to give to families and children in time of crisis. Seaport Quilters provide over 100 quilts per year to the valley for this cause. Lap blankets are made for residents of area nursing homes for when they are in their chairs to keep them warm and comfortable.

Comfort quilts are generally 45" by 54".
If you are interested in making a comfort quilt please see our SIZE GUIDE and our Comfort Blocks of the Month.
